Now our tank factory as well, the foundation of which we laid last year during the month of Ramadan, thank God, has started serial production. Today we also inspected the facility and saw the progress of the works. Because, as I said, a very big dream has now become reality. Our esteemed President monitored every stage of the investment almost at every moment and gave us tremendous support. This will be a major ceremony. We will hold it when it is suitable for the schedules of the senior leadership. For us, the main point is that this factory has already started production. The tanks we delivered for testing in the previous year demonstrated all their capabilities and passed the tests with great success. The factory has also been completed. Road tests must be carried out, 10 thousand kilometers must be covered, and certain performance indicators must be verified. As of today, there are no disruptions in our powerpack program. All elements, including air defense systems, are tested together with the tank. If our esteemed President had not shown his will on this matter, such a facility would not have existed. Throughout the entire journey, starting from the first design stages up to today, the project faced numerous difficulties and provocations. About three years ago, after we acquired the controlling stake in BMC, we approached the project with a completely new perspective and developed plans based on the need to produce it in the right place and in the right way. As a result, we acquired land in HAB, at the heart of Ankara\u2019s defense ecosystem. Very quickly, we designed and completed this facility for the production of new-generation tanks and armored vehicles, where the world\u2019s most advanced technologies can be applied. Here, on the one hand, we will produce our national tank ALTAY and, on the other hand, the new 8&#215;8 armored combat vehicle ALTU\u011e. We also have orders.
