To protect the environment in which we live and to pass on a clean, healthy, peaceful and safe world to all living beings and future generations, we, as GEM A.Ş., together with all our employees in all our offices and on our sites, assume the following duties and obligations:

• Comply with all national and international legal requirements and regulations.
• Establish an environmental management system, maintain it within a risk-based approach and continuously improve it.
• Define objectives aligned with our environmental vision and analyze our performance in line with our goals and targets.
• Prevent or minimize environmental damage throughout the entire life cycle of the product: from design, production and shipment to end-user processes and end-of-life disposal.
• Ensure the necessary organization and allocate resources for our environmental goals and targets.
• Reduce the consumption of resources such as water, gas and electricity used to carry out our activities through all effective working methods and careful resource management.
• Prevent, reduce and segregate all waste and pollution primarily at the source, and ensure recycling of waste.
• Increase employees’ environmental awareness through training and encourage their contribution to creating a corporate environmental culture.
